Sensory play, gentle connection, and a little everyday magic for babies and their grown-ups.

Little Explorers is a six-week baby-and-caregiver class designed for babies ages 6 months to pre-walkers who are ready to explore the world through texture, color, movement, music, books, and play.

​

Created by Little Lantern Kits in partnership with Belmont Baby, this class gives families a warm, welcoming space to connect, discover, and make meaningful memories together.

What to Expect

Each class is approximately 50 minutes, includes an additional 20 minutes of free play after class, and an area for independent quiet play for older children. Siblings may join during open play once class ends. 8-12 spots per class. Hosted at the Winslow Center in Pleasant Hill.

  • Welcome Song + Group Prompt
    We’ll begin with a song and a simple question to help caregivers connect.

  • Sensory Activity
    Each week features a new baby-friendly sensory experience.

  • Active Play
    Families can explore, crawl, roll, play, and connect in a baby-safe environment.

  • Story Time
    We’ll gather for a sweet book that ties into the day’s theme.

  • Wrap-Up + Reset
    Each class ends with an intention-setting question for the week ahead.     ​
